Well Mom is going to take this class that will let her apply for a conceal and carry gun permit. She says when we go walkie in the parks that she carries one anyway, and it would be nice to be legal. She says we not big enough to protect her.
We used to have foster Kids when we lived in Illinois, so she has already had a heck of a background check and is fingerprinted. She does not remember doing anything between now and then that would change it.
She says people with legal Conceal Permits are much more careful about the laws, because they know that if they screw up they will loose their permit, and no one with a permit that uses it wants to loose it.
I really think I could protect her just fine. I am big bad and mean. Everyone should be scared of me. I just do not understand why when I am being mean people laugh. It just makes me madder. Sometimes we walk with Sassy bird in a baby stroller in her travel cage. It is too much stuff to take along when we drive to the walkie places, but when we walk at home and it is warm out she gets to go along. We have been known to get hot and tired and get in the bottom of the stroller and take a nap. Talk about a good deal, if Mom wants to go too far we just cheat n ride in the stroller, it carries our water too.
Someone said we need to get some Doggie mace and carry it along. The neighbor lady with the black pug says she carries it. She says a loose dog could hurt us. She told Mom that with two Dogs and a bird in a stroller that she would not be able to protect us all from a stray loose dog, so she should carry Doggie mace. She agrees but has not remembered to pick any up. Mom says she would rather mace a mean dog than shoot it.
Dad says he is not going to get a CCW (conceal & carry permit) because he is afraid he might want to use the gun. Mom thinks he is silly, she says that he is not mean. But they go everywhere together anyway, so Mom will protect him. The thing is that when we walkie Mom never takes any money along, the only thing of value she has is us, and her phone. I guess bad guys do not think of that.
Barney.
