Rain / Feeder

Boy what a day. We got up late, N got shut out of bedroom, then Mom on Computer. It bill Tuesday so we on computer for longer on Tuesdays. I set by her leg and make her hot. Then We go out to pee and come back in for our lunch. We get in our crates for lunch and Mom decides to leave for shopping while we in there.

So we in crates till she gets home. I know she forgot, cause we not have to stay in there while she gone. I just know. Anyway. She comes home and we help her put stuff away. Dad comes home while we helping so we go help him get in the house. He opens door and Nails runs out to greet him but he comes in and shuts her out. ROFL. I thought it was funny. Then later Dad Ask, Where's Nails. Well Duh You locked her outside, on the front stoop.

Mom runs down there to see if she had ran off or got in traffic and she was setting on the stoop complaining about the heat. I laughing at her. Mom says if someone had walked past then she would have been in trouble cause she would have went out and greeted them and then licked them and then she would have wondered off with them, or got in traffic. I guess it good it was too hot for people to be walking past. If I was stupid enough to go out when Dad coming in I would have BARKED and let them know I was still out there. But I not that stupid. ROFL..

Then later the weather lady kept saying we were gonna have a Gully Washer. I was not sure what a Gully washer was, but Dad put us in our back yard and told us to go pee before it got here. So we did. then I watched out my window, and Man did it rain and rain and rain. It rained so hard I could not see the cars in the street very well. The water was running down the gutters and all around. They even put the SUV in the garage afore it started. My Garden plants are all flattened, and there is tree leaves and little limbs all over my yard. I not like Gully Washers.

Mom ordered us a water proof Gravity flow metal Dog feeder. This is not a good thing. It can feed us for a whole week. The one we had for biker Rally's was not water proof so every time they left the food got soggy and nasty cause it rained. So she ordered us a new one. it holds 10lbs dog food, which is plunty for a long time for us. Last time they went she got this new water Bucket and it holds 5 gallons. They keep talking about Sturgis and a week. I Hates Sturgis and I hates Biker Rallies. even if the neighbors check on us when we has to stay in our outside kennel. can you imagine 5 days. That will be awful. this feeder is posed to keep out slugs too, cause it has a magnetic metal flap.. it can hang a few inches off the floor with a couple of S hooks. they used to have one for Ghoul our old hunting Dog and it was bigger than this one, and her food stayed dry in it. She stayed in the kennel for long times.. Mom says we has to have good food, good water, and be safe.. She says we must be safe, cause she worries about us. If she worries so much she should stay with us. LOL.

I guess if we gonna have to stay in kennel like dogs then we does need the bestest stuff to keep us watered and fed, and to have good food and water. This is better stuff for that than what we had, so it is better. But I still not want to have to stay in Kennel. So it is bad too.

Stinky

The SUV smells like glue and stuff now. it really stinks. The seats are now slippery and we has a cover on them anyway. I thought the leather was so we not need a cover on seats, but Mommy says that we need a cover so we not slide around. It just a blanket. and we love blankets anyway. Mom says the blanket is old and can be tossed in the wash when we get it stinky.

I not sure why she thinks we always get stuff stinky. We not stinky at all. She washes us and makes us stinky if you ask me. We just gets to smelling good and then she washes us. We gets our bed and couch and stuff smelling good and she washes it and makes it all stinky. Just not understand. We just got the wash thing yesterday, Couch covers, carpet, Bed covers, Crate pillows, She dusted and washed floors. Vacuumed. Then we had to get a bath. Knew that bath was coming when she started the cleaning stuff. She said that we not really need Mopping yet

Mom says that if you gonna have critters in the house you has to pay for it with cleanings. Sassy's cage even got cleaned and disinfected. Mom hates dusting If you looking for dirt in our house you can find DUST somewhere and maybe some cobwebs.. That's why Mommy says we have Sassy and not another kind of bird, Cause Sassy is not dusty. Amazons do not make dust dander like Cockatoos. Mommy says African Grays have a little dust, but nothing like a Cockatoo. She wants another Gray but Sassy doesn't.

I think if we not careful we get our nails trimmed soon. Oh well I think it time for a nap now. I tired. Mom got me up early and shut me out of the bedroom so I could not go back to bed. She says I not need to go back to bed.

Where is my Beetle

M&D left in our Green VW Beetle yesterday afternoon. They were gone till nearly dark. They came home in a SUV. A Gray Nissan Murano. Mom says it is pretty. I think it smells funny. I did not want to get in it cause it was not our Beetle. Nails and I would not get in until Mom set the leftovers on the seat, then we got in to see what was in the bag..

It not have leather seats but Mom said that they are fixing that on Tuesday, that she would not have got it with cloth seats cause Bird Poop stains cloth seats. They said to go ahead and let Sassy poop on it this weekend cause they was going to throw the covers away when they put the leather on. LOL.

Mom says the Beetle needed an injector pump rebuild, and glow plugs, which would have been about $2000. Mom says the beetle was crowded with us and Sassy bird and her and all the stuff we needs to take along to travel. Plus we could not pull a trailer with the motorcycle on it. Now we have 4x4, 6 cyl and nuf power and road clearance to haul a trailer. Dad says he was tired of having to take the big truck everywhere cause the Beetle was not big nuf. We should only need the big truck if we takes the camper, and now we will.

Dad keeps saying that the SUV is Mom's and Mom says the Beetle was hers. That this is his. She stick with her Motorcycles, rides them more than she drives anyway. She likes it but she LOVED our little green diesel BUG. If Mom not want it then I guess it is ours. Nails and Sassy and Mine, we take it, we needed more room and I think we will like it when we gets used to it, Sassy even has her own climate control so she can be warmer when Mommy has it like a fridge on her side. Stupid bird always gets the front seat, if Dad not along. Mommy's and their hot flashes.

I think the Kaw, or Kawasaki will like it cause the SUV will pull it to Gma's house and it will not have to go up a ditch to get in the back of a truck any more, it will be able to ride on its own trailer. Viper Mom's Harley could even ride on the trailer, but Viper usually takes herself or she stays home. The only times Vipers rides in a trailer is for going to Florida in March when ice on roads here. Mom says it not for us Viper could go to Gma's with just Mom. But when we has to go along Viper can not carry us. The Kaw is part dirt bike part street bike and great for running around at the farm. I even ride it before.

I think I will like my new SUV. Well my used SUV. I have LOTS of windows to smear up, and plunty of room. Really cold AC. Mom says it can make U shiver when it very hot out. I will draw on windows and make it mine as soon as I get in it. Can not wait. Love to draw on windows with nose.
