My back is sore, stupid Rabies shot. But we got a long walkie on a bike trail, that was good, but the shot sucked. Mom says all medicine is done now. Just a haircut and bath and Frontline before we go to Texas, BATH.. UGGG. that worse than Hair cut. I wish I didn't shed, then we could skip hair cut. but it getting warmer so I will shed. We all 3 will. Mom has so much to do this week I not sure about walkies for rest of week. I probably wont feel like one tomorrow.. OUCHY.
It is late so we are going to go PP and then go to bed. Good night bipeds and Anipals.

Busy with Spring stuff & excited for trip
I can sign into my blog from our Kindle Fire & read, but it wont let us write or post. THAT SUCKS. I bite Fire, but Mom said no she likes it too much. Even tho she wishes she had gotten a regular tablet instead. She thought Fire was the cheapest tablet which is why she got, then she found regular tablet for Bout $100. Boy that sucks. We could probably post from regular tablet. Amazon puts blocks on quite a few apps and makes it hard to read some Magazines that not from their store. She could download Kindle to a tablet and it would work.
We getting our spring shots & wormers now. We going to Rabies clinic next Saturday, We got nose mist shot first for Kennel cough, cause bad ol Jesse had it once & she can get it again, so we all had to get that. Then a few days later we got the 7 way shots, which makes your back sore for a few days. A couple days later we got broad spectrum wormer for tape and others. Someone puked up yellow grit after so Mom just hopes it was in system nuf cause she not know who did it. We gets wormed every 3 or 4 months so it not like we was infested, BOL. Mom hada order new heart worm meds from Europe so we have to wait and hope that it comes B4 we go to Texas to Visit Dad. We will get fresh Frontline B4 Texas (sand flea) trip too.
Mom gonna have Jesse Scanned for a chip and if she don't have one, Mom gonna get her one, when we go for Rabies Clinic, She came to live with us too late last year to go to clinic and Mom had to take her to a Vet for her Rabies shot. The Vet wanted way too much money for the chip, so Mom figured she would wait, we wasn't sure Jesse was staying yet then anyway.
After I got my 7 way shot, the next day I fell off Mom's footstool and hurt my front leg, I hammed it up big time, I cried and got babied for a whole 2 days. I gots a 1/2 a low dose Aspirin in sausage. Mom carried treats to me on the couch, and lifted me off and on. But the next day I got excited about supper and furgot to limp, I went bouncing in the kitchen for my share, and totally ruined the babying. It was wonderful while it lasted tho. Mom worried and felt so bad cause she had put the footstool down. It was the bestest 2 days.. BOL...
After we get Done with spring Vet care, We going to Texas, Dad is flying in from El Paso to St Louis Mom got him a ticket for $120 WOW. We gonna get in truck & go to Grandma's in Illinois, then stay in Camper a couple days, then on the 16th of March Dad fly into Lambert Airport for his M&D 50th Wedding Anniversary and Family Reunion. After that is over we hook up camper and bring it back home, pack it up and we all drive to Texas to spend some time with Dad. He working in El Paso. When We went Down to visit him we brought the truck back and left him the car, So now we can take truck to Illinois and get the camper and take it to Texas so we not have to pay for hotel room & we can stay a lot longer in a camp site for lots less money.
Dad stays in a company house, for free, with free food and board but they not allow critters in there, so when we went we had to rent hotel room for $60 a night. He has a place he can put the camper for free when we leave, and we can rent camp spot by the week while we there.. We will have to get fresh hair cuts and fresh Frontline B4 we go, Mom says we cant smell Doggie cause she wants us to smell good. and not shed. Whatever... Mom wants to stay a couple weeks and get to know the area, she says they need to get a feel for living there so they can decide if they want to rent a place and put our house up for sale. Dad likes the Job but we bought this house right B4 the housing market crashed, I not hear a crash but Mom said it was bad. Dad still not sure if he likes all the dust storms. It not that warm in winter as we thought and it probably really really hot in summer. They get warm time in winter almost every day but nights get almost as cold as home days.
As dogs we gotta watch where we go cause the ground will bite you and stick in your toes. It hurts. Mom have to pull it out & it make you squeal.. I guess it not that bad if you walkie where others walk, but if you wonder off it can really hurt. Someone said scorpions are bad there, but we never saw any, I guess they hide from cold. I wonder if they would bite us?
We all excited about seeing Dad. Mom used tax Money to pay off Dad's Harley, so now all bikes are paid for, but he wants to get Mom a new Triumph. Anyway she used more the Money to pay the Insurance & the License for the Harley's for a whole year, so they no longer eat any money but gas. Mom paid for our Sturgis Camp site this year too, & our vet stuff.. She bought a few things that we was needing, and a few things they wanted. (Kindle Fire, and Dad's RC car) She still has quite a bit left over, and is waiting to see what they might need it for.
Dad coming to get us will cut one his pay checks in half at least, so we have to figure on that. I hate money, if they didn't need it we could just all live together and be happy. Sigh. Well now to just wait and wait for March 11th so we can get our Payment for the stable and then we can go visit Grandma until Dad flies in. I wish I could watch him fly, but I doubt I get to go along. Probably be stuck in camper waiting.

New YEAR
Well its a new year, Dad is working in El Paso Texas, and we only get to hear is voice outta computer. Mom says he on the screen but we cant see him, he's all fuzzy.
Mom been dieting hard & working out, we been watching and napping. We have lost weight Nails and I, from eating our Nutro Grain Free Kibble and she switched our treats to Carrots, Baby Carrots.
We get one chicken wrapped rawhide, and Carrots for our supper treat and the 1/3 cup Nutro Vinson Kibble with Chicken Broth for lunch. The chicken broth keeps us from gulping our food too much and it taste good. Jesse not gaining weight and we loosing, so must be about right. We do get plate licks and a few scraps but not much and no Wheat or grains. Nails has a tail now. BOL. & we both getting a waist. & we feel so good we playing and running & so shiny.
Mom sold the Kawasaki, but we still has the Triumph and the Harleys. We gonna go see Dad after we get our payment on the house in Illinois, that be the 12th of Jan. Unless he comes home first, He needs to come home so he can get the camper so we has a place for us critters to stay & we can visit for longer, He would put the camper in a storage place, then when we come rent a camp spot, then take it back to storage when we go home. Mom could stay in the house he in, but they not allow us, so it hard.
It B easier if we had a place to stay, but Kennel for 3 dogs, probably cost as much as renting a hotel room. Sassy could go cause she stay in cage in bedroom. But she wouldnt like going wifout her Dogs.
We not sure if it going to be a good year or not, We hope it is. Mom wants to get sexy, she gets close she says but never ever has made it to her goal weight. Even with her weight loss surgery in 2003 she never got to her goal. She 100lbs less than B4 the surgery, but she still 50 lbs overwight. Sure she much better off and the surgery saved her so much, but she still back to diet, and exercise. She says normal weight for her is 145 and she just cant get there, never has been able to get there. she looks pretty good at 165, but cant get there either since high school.
Ok so I think diets suck, But I want to look good and want to feel good more. SO stay away from Grain if you are a dog. Grain is what we feed cattle to make them fat!!! we are not cows or horses, we are meat eaters, look at our teeth, not grazers. Humans should avoid most Grains too, but not all.. Wheat is not good for anyone, except maybe birds..
Have a Good year and Have fun, that most important, feeling good and having fun, if you not doing that then change your life till you are..
